2,974 times legendary Stephen Curry New owner of NBA three-point record T-shirt, Hoodie, Long sleeve, Sweatshirt, Tank top, Ladies Tees
Never before has one man achieved so much. Yesterday, the record for three pointers in a season was taken down by a fellow named Stephen Curry. Today you can own this commemorative t-shirt sporting his face, his record and the historical 2,974 times it happened. Quantities are limited and sizes may be limited as well so don’t delay on this historic jersey.
Stephen Curry is 2,974–2,974. For many years the NBA has kept records for three-point field goals made through the regular season and playoffs, but Steph Curry’s performance in 2015–16 broke all the rules. During a game against the Pelicans on February 27th 2016, he sank 12 threes in a single game to obliterate the previous record of 269 held by Ray Allen. The new record holder for 3-pointers made in a season showed his humility by giving away t-shirts with “2,974” written across the chest to all Warriors fans that attended the final home game of their regular season.
You’ll shoot some great hoops when you own this comfy tee with a graphic of Stephen Curry owning the NBA three-point record.
You’ll see lots of reaction shots and behind-the-scenes footage featuring the face of the franchise, two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry, even more footage featuring Curry’s alter ego, Chef Curry (aka Daddy Sauce), on top of reining in 2,974 three pointers made during the Warriors’ record-breaking 2015-16 season.
Hey, you’re a basketball fan and you like Stephen Curry. We get it. In case you missed it though, maybe you were out the night that the kid from Davidson made NBA history by going 9-19 from distance to put his name in the record book for most three’s in a game, then nailed 7 more 3s to break Ray Allen’s all-time mark, we thought you’d like this limited edition collectors item from Nike so much, we made sure that whoever got it could return it (that last part is true too)
