The program, which began in 2007, was created to unite the members and friends of Michigan’s Most Prestigious Country Clubs, who have collectively dedicated themselves to helping all children in their communities. Proceeds from the sales of this shirt benefit the Michigan Champions charitable foundation.

If you love the West, and love Michigan, this shirt is for you. The State of Michigan is on a map, with the word “Champions” at the bottom. At the top in red are seven icons representing many things that make Michigan, Michigan: 1) the automotive icon (for car production and design), 2) an apple (Michigan grows more apples than any other state), 3) a ship (for the Great Lakes and shipping industry), 4) an airplane (Michigan has a large aviation history, going back to WWI with Ford producing planes), 5) a boat (for Detroit and the River), 6) grapes (Michigan is one of only two states that grow commercial grapes year round), 7) woodsman with log (for logger and hunting traditions). In blue across the midsection it says “State of Champions,” next to a depiction of an eagle perched on a branch.
