I agree as I too am saddened to see so many who are worse off than I but let’s not forget that if it weren’t for the care we/they are getting at those VA hospitals many more would already be dead. I, for one, don’t believe that the VA is a BAD organization, although I DO believe that many employees there even at the TOP have lost focus of what their purpose/mission IS and they need to go and refresh their memory of exactly WHY they exist in the 1st place. AND Secretary Wilkie is one of them.

Our VA clinic in Peoria Il has the most outstanding people and the greatest care imaginable…..except for George the VSO. He tells everyone they are NOT eligible for benefits.
Send the same people to Mike Brooks, VAC and the issues are resolved.
Along with the new Mission Act signed by Pres Trump and our local VA Health program is a dream.
