AKA Founders Day T-Shirt

This t-shirt design was created for a class at Think Design. It is derived from the logotype for the school, Think University.  The text is friendly and reads, “AKA Founders Day”. Additionally, multiple works of art are placed on the shirt that depict some of the school’s past events and campus landmarks. The “U” in “University” wraps around the pattern on the inside of the shirt, while the outline of the campus perfectly fits within an outlined “Think” circle.

Celebrate this years Founders Day with our new shirt! Available from today, June 12th until the 15th.

Celebrate 100 years of Wisconsin. Every day. Ok, maybe not every day. But hey, you can do it if you want! Founders Day was originally celebrated on the third Saturday in October, beginning in 1917 and ending with the “one hundred” celebration in 1956. This shirt features Annie Oakley, the La Follette Brothers, George and Lillie Hunter and Frederick Dill. Our office is located at the Historical Society of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, where a great deal of our research was done for this image.
