I’m a proud dad of an autistic Jedi. My son was diagnosed with autism when he was just six months old and it’s been a long journey to get him to where he is today.

He has a few challenges, including sensory processing disorder (SPD) and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He also has some anxiety issues that make it difficult for him to be around other people.

But what makes me proudest is that he loves Star Wars. He’s obsessed with the movies, and we’ve had a blast watching them together over the years. He loves the characters, especially Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. When he first saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), he cried because one of his favorite characters died!

I love seeing him so emotional about these movies because they’re such a big part of who he is as an individual—and they’re also so important in helping him understand himself better.

We know your son is an amazing Jedi Knight, but we need you to know that he’s also a dad.

He’s been there for you through it all, always serving as a source of strength and support. He may not be able to do what he wants to do because of his condition, but he still makes sure you know how special it is to have him in your life.
