Dr. Pepper Skinny Tumbler 20oz 30oz volume
This is a great reference piece for anyone who likes Dr. Pepper. The writer has a website that he continually updates with tidbits of information about the drink and history and trivia about it. Seeing that I am a Dr. Pepper fan I want to include this in my article because I think an editor would see the value in being able to add an ongoing aspect to their website or blog that could easily be updated by others including other contributors or employees of your website if you have one. This makes retention of writers easier as they don’t need to keep coming back to re write things but just add new information instead.
I am a Dr. Pepper addict. If you should ever steal my beloved black and red can, I’ll come after you with all the ferocity of a thousand riled up bears protecting their precious poppy seeds. The brand has a history of being loved and hated, but for me it’s much more than an addiction. It’s a deeply held religious belief.
Dr. Pepper (or Dr Pepper with no period between Dr and Pepper) is a carbonated soft drink invented in 1885 by Charles Alderton in Waco, Texas. In order to distinguish itself from its founder’s other carbonated drink rootbeer, Dr. Pepsi, the soft drink was given its own name. This is unlike Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola which were both named for their creator as advertisements claimed that the drinks would “relieve ‘Dr’ Pemberton’s pains” (more information can be found about their names here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coca-Cola).
I was just thinking the other day about how I haven’t had a Dr. Pepper in years but for some reason this post doesn’t taste like one.
Dr. Pepper is my favorite soda. I have a certain affection for it that I can’t exactly explain. It’s not that I enjoy the flavor — it’s OK, but not spectacular (there are better tasting fruit-flavored sodas). And I’m certainly not impressed with its very low price. No, my Dr. Pepper love has more to do with nostalgia than taste, nostalgia for a time when life was simpler and a certain blue soft drink was kind of a big deal.
How do you make your Dr. Pepper? The answer to that question is actually a unique fingerprint for everyone. And not only does the answer differ, but so too does the way each of us drinks it.
I have to confess that I love Dr. Pepper and drinking it is my daily meditation that keeps me concentrating on my goals. But… Why do you think that Dr. Pepper is so famous?
