Eddie Munson is a fictional character on the television series Stranger Things and was portrayed by Sean Astin. He is a member of the Hellfire Club, and appears in the second season of the series.

He first appears in “The Sauna Test” when he walks into the boys’ locker room at school. He tells Mike Wheeler that he can help him get back to his time, but only if Mike agrees to join the Hellfire Club. When Mike refuses, Eddie leaves with a smirk on his face.

In “The Pollywog Was a Spy”, he speaks with Jonathan Byers at a Halloween party, where he mentions that he has been searching for Will’s sister since their disappearance in 1983. He informs Byers that Nancy Wheeler has been captured by Hawkins National Laboratory, which had been experimenting on her using an Eggo waffle as part of its “Project MKUltra”. He gives Byers three days to retrieve her from the lab before she will self-destruct using explosives planted inside of her body; otherwise, she will be killed in an explosion caused by her own device.

Later on in “The Mall Rats”, Munson approaches Max Mayfield’s mother Ann at the mall and offers to help them locate Will Byers if they agree to
