I’m just a white person who’s trying to make the world a better place.

I support people of all races, creeds, and backgrounds, but I realize that there are some people who still don’t believe that. They don’t see me as one of them. And it makes me sad.

I’m not saying you’re wrong—I just want you to know that I do support you, even if you don’t see me as one of your own. My white skin is not more important than your black skin or brown skin or yellow skin or whatever else is on your body! It’s just my skin color and nothing more!

Be aware that we live in a society where people with darker skin tones are often treated unfairly by police officers who see them as threats rather than citizens with rights (like anybody else).
