The Loyal Order of Water Buffalo is a fraternal organization that has been around since the early 1900’s. Founded in Dallas, Texas, the LOWB currently has chapters in many countries and states, including Nebraska. The Water Buffalo Lodge is believed to have been founded by the blacksmith of Fort McKinney in 1904. There are now LOwb chapters located here at Mizzou as well.
